Le Bleuet De France Stud Earrings LWF_ Bleuet 9
Le Bleuet stud earrings, Beautiful small stud earrings with soft blue enamel, Die struck in brass and plated with chrome simple but succinct and because of that they are ideal to be worn every day of the year as a token to those laid down their lives and to those who returned.

The Cornflower also known as le Bleuet is the national flower of France for remembrance. It is guesswork as to how it arrived with this name, one theory is derived from the Cornflower which flourished in the broken soil of the trenches of the Western Front and a slang expression for the Horizon Blue uniforms issued to new recruits in 1914. Prior to this the French went to war in red trousers and dark blue coats
